Underperform
An analyst recommendation that means a stock is expected to do slightly worse than the market return.

Undersubscribed
A situation in which the demand for an initial public offering of securities is less than the number of shares issued.

Upgrade
A positive change in the rating of a security.

Undervalued
A stock trading below its fair value.

Underwriter

An investment banking firm committed to successful distribution of a public issue, failing which the firm would take the securities being offered (that is, buy) into its own books. Some countries also provide for underwriting on best effort basis
