NAV - Net Asset Value
The total value of the fund's portfolio less liabilities. Net Asset Value (NAV) is the market value of the securities held by the scheme of a Mutual Fund.NAV varies on a day-to-day basis since the market value of securities changes regularly. The total market value divided by the total number of units of the scheme on a specific date is the NAV.To simplify, if you hold a unit in a mutual fund, the NAV is the value today of your unit.
NASDAQ Composite Index
The NASDAQ Composite Index measures all NASDAQ domestic and non-U.S. based common stocks listed on the NASDAQ stock Market.The Index is market value weighted.
